Mindful Eating

Many of us have inherited our eating habits from our families and have never even thought about our relationship with food.  We live in a culture that is always in a hurry and doesn’t live in the moment.  Eating is no longer a sacred activity that nourishes the mind, body and spirit, but is merely a task.  Many people eat mindlessly and are unhealthy.  When your body is out of balance, it cannot process even the best quality food.  It is essential that we take a closer ook at not just what we eat, but how and where we eat.

Do you equate controlling your weight with controlling your health?  Just because you are losing weight, it doesn’t necessarily mean you are gaining health.
